Winner of the KVCTU "Silver Trout Award" 

The West Virginia Trophy Hunters AssociationSM works tirelessly for wildlife conservation in many areas. Our organization was honored on  March 11, 2008 for our assistance in the successful rebirth of the Left Fork of Tea Creek as a trout stream. The project included placing lime filings in the stream tributaries to neutralize acid in the stream.

The Kanawha Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited awarded the 2008 Silver Trout Award to our group for our part in this project. The ward was for "Distinguished Service To Conservation". We were proud to accept this award from the dedicated members of Trout Unlimited. We look forward to partnering with Trout Unlimited on future projects.
